Sunday School

We believe children, who come to Sunday School will be accepted, loved and feel safe to explore and challenge their understanding of how to live their faith.

We believe children want to know stories of the Bible, but also the relevance these teachings have for them in today’s world.

We recognise that children learn in a variety of ways and will plan sessions to involve words, music, art, drama, prayer and quiet reflection to enable all children with an opportunity to learn. We will encourage them to grow and mature within the church community. The sessions will be fun, child friendly and taught in a style that leads by examples the teaching of the Bible.

Sunday School is for children aged 2-4 years who are welcome to attend with their parents and 5-12 years.

We meet every Sunday in school term-time, except the first Sunday of the month, which is a family service.

Sunday school leaders aim to:

Harvest Festival Service 2009
This year, the Bishop's Harvest Appeal was "Give Water for Life".

All Saints Sunday School learnt about the valuable work that is carried out by "WaterAid".

The children looked at pictures from other places in the world, where water is not clean and many people die because of the many germs.

A water pump was drawn and all members of the congregation helped us raise lots of money by placing coins, notes and envelopes full of money onto the water pump.

Everybody enjoyed participating!
