Friends of All Saints

The old Parish Church of All Saints Kempston is held in deep affection by Kempstonian's past and present and by many more living far beyond the parish boundaries.

Once it was at the hub of the community. Now it is an oasis of peace away from the bustle of everyday life. But throughout the centuries the community has always been able to come to it at the crucial moments of their lives - for christenings, weddings and funerals, or just to appreciate its beauty and tranquillity.

The Parish Church is part of our heritage. We would be shocked and dismayed if it disappeared, yet that is what might happen if the building is not cherished and enhanced.

Successive generations have in their time restored and refurbished the church to meet the changing needs of their own day. Now it is our turn. By joining the Friends you can keep the building as it should be.

The Friends of All Saints Kempston is a registered charity, which is run independently of the Church PCC. The committee is drawn from the wider community and all monies raised by them will go only towards the preservation and improvement of the fabric of the church and its surroundings.

All Saints Church has been a part of the life and history of Kempston for over 1000 years. Become a FRIEND and enable it to play its part for another 1000 years.
